How to become a CDA in NJ:
In order to achieve the credential of Certified Dental Assistant you must complete the 3 components of the credential. By taking a state approved Radiology course and passing the exam you have accomplished one of the requirements. Infection Control is the second. There is no prerequisite for the Infection Control examination. The third component is General Chairside. You must have 2 years of experience in order to take that component along with a valid CPR card (Yes we offer classes for that too). All three components must be completed within 5 years of achieving the first credential. If it is longer than 5 years you will be required to retake the exams in order to achieve the CDA credential. So do not wait – join this prep class today!
